Road Poets are excited to perform at the inaugural May’d On The Rock concert. It happens at the Gabriola Community Hall on May 18 7pm, 2025. We are no stranger to this venue and have shook the walls and filled the dance floor more than a few times. We will performing brand new songs and old gems from our Road Poets album. This concert will feature our brand new drummer Warren Fraleigh.
The May’d on The Rock is weekend Studio and Art Tour similar to the Fall Art Tour that happens on Gabriola every year. This one is obviously going to be a whole lot more interesting and fun as there is two nights of music, food trucks and of course many many studios to visit. Definitely not to be missed!
Road Poets, the band, is a four piece rock band from Gabriola Island. In April 2024 Road Poets released their first album, called Road Poets. All the songs are original and written by Dave Teichroeb and the band. Layered lyrics telling the tales of humanity that read like poetry with clever turns of phrase and insight into the human condition. The world reflected locally and globally through powerful, compelling music. It get’s fun and danceable while mirroring the world. You’ll find the band mostly on Gabriola performing or in the studio composing, rehearsing and recording.
